Audi A5L Spy Photos and Updates

TapTechNews on May 23rd, the blogger @SugarDesign shared a set of spy photos of the Audi A5L recently. This car doesn't adopt the hatchback design of the imported model, but chooses to move closer to the A4L.

According to the previous news of FAW-Volkswagen, the first welded body of the project with the internal code AU401 under Audi was offline in December last year. This internal code corresponds to the brand-new generation of Audi A4L, but Audi announced earlier last year that the original A4 name will only be used for pure electric models, and the fuel version models will be named A5.

The spy photos of the new car's interior have been exposed before, and its design adopts the style of the overseas Q6e-tron, equipped with a brand-new three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, as well as a full LCD digital instrument and a central control integrated curved screen.

It is worth noting that the SAIC Audi A7L model listed in China also doesn't adopt the hatchback design and the appearance is closer to a business sedan. The Audi A5L can be regarded as a reduced version of the Audi A7L.
