TapTechNews on May 30th, according to Xiong Tianbo, general manager of Fangchengba of BYD Group, the second OTA upgrade of the Leopard 5 will be officially pushed at the end of May. This OTA has optimized 15 existing functions and added 13 new functions. Among them, the Yunian flagship version and the Yunian luxury version have added 6 new functions, including the "camping leveling" function.
According to the official poster, the OTA will be gradually rolled out starting from May 30th (today). TapTechNews summarizes the contents as follows:
New off-road style instrument panel theme: Will display information such as engine water temperature and motor temperature.
New instrument panel energy flow: Can check the current vehicle energy source situation at any time.
New Gaode Maps custom version: Can display the traffic light countdown display.
New instrument panel SOC percentage display (State of Charge).
New instrument panel shows altitude information: Displays the current altitude value.
New copilot screen mobile phone screen projection: Mobile phone content can be synchronously displayed on the copilot screen.
New Bluetooth call number location information can be displayed on the center control screen.
Functions added for the Yunian version:
Support intelligent driving assistance functions such as intelligent piloting and automatic parking under Yunian high & low gears: Such as L2+ level intelligent driving assistance functions.
New greeting function: After the vehicle is shut down and the suspension height is in "standard", the height will be automatically reduced to "low".
Picking-up function: When opening the trunk door, the rear suspension height will be automatically reduced, and after closing the trunk door, it will return to the original height.
Voice adjustment: Intelligent voice supports adjusting the Yunian suspension height/low.
Ultra-low function: Press and hold the brake pedal and pull down the down switch for more than 7 seconds to trigger the ultra-low function, suitable for scenarios such as entering underground garages.
Camping leveling function: On an uneven ground, enabling this function can adjust the vehicle body to a horizontal state.
15 newly optimized functions:
Optimized the field of view display of the streaming media interior rearview mirror [Yunian flagship version], optimized the intelligent voice response of the nap mode, optimized the steering feel [Yunian flagship version, Yunian luxury version], optimized the text and pop-up display of the setting items, optimized the车体 map display of the panoramic image, optimized the shift smoothness of reverse gear, optimized the air conditioning performance, optimized the automatic parking function, optimized the power consumption display of the scheduled charging, optimized the intelligent piloting function, optimized the UI display effect of the card folding, optimized the front transverse collision braking function, optimized the preview display effect of the ambient light, optimized the seat comfort of the nap mode, canceled the cooling time of the ejection start.
