The cooperation of the large model is also expanding from mobile phones to the PC and electric vehicle fields, with Lenovo and Nio reaching cooperation this quarter. Li Yanhong stated that the expansion to smart devices provides ample opportunities for the Wenxin large model to be adopted by a larger number of users.
Earlier, Ihouse reported that Baidu released its first quarter financial report for 2024 today, with a total revenue of 31.5 billion yuan, and Baidu's core revenue was 23.8 billion yuan. At the same time, Baidu's net profit (Non-GAAP) attributable to Baidu was 7.011 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 22%, and the net profit (Non-GAAP) attributable to Baidu's core was 6.628 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 26%, both exceeding market expectations.
The financial report showed that in March 2024, Baidu App had 676 million monthly active users, a year-on-year increase of 3%, and online marketing revenue for the quarter was 17 billion yuan.
It is understood that after more than a year of release, the number of users of Wenxin Yanyan exceeded 200 million, and the daily call volume of Wenxin large model also reached 200 million. Baidu recently launched multiple lightweight large language models, as well as online development tools such as AgentBuilder, AppBuilder, and ModelBuilder. Thanks to the mutual promotion of Wenxin large models and PaddlePaddle, as of mid-April, the number of developers on the PaddlePaddle community has reached 13 million.
