TapTechNews May 24th news, Nokia recently announced sponsoring the game Apex Heroes, and launched a customized Nokia Beacon 10 router kit (including router/handle/Nokia logo mouse pad) for the upcoming Apex global esports championship on May 31st, claiming to provide "network power support" for gamers.
Nokia Beacon 10 router was released in MWC2023. This is Nokia's first Wi-Fi 6E gateway with a new logo, claiming to provide seamless and high-capacity mesh network.
Nokia said that Beacon 10 is a true tri-band device, making full use of the 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 6GHz bands, able to provide 10 Gbps of Wi-Fi throughput, and is equipped with a 10 G WAN interface, which can be paired with a 10 Gb/s fiber optic modem (TapTechNews note: optical modem) for home gigabit services.
The 2.4GHz band of Nokia Beacon 10 is based on 2x2 MIMO, and the 5GHz and 6GHz bands are based on 4x4 MIMO, so that the Wi-Fi speed reaches 10 Gbps, and it also supports 160 MHz channels. Beacon 10 is also equipped with an AX10200 2.5 Gbps LAN interface, bringing high-speed home connection.
