TapTechNews May 24th news, the source @OnLeaks in collaboration with the tech media Smartprix, shared the 5K high-definition renderings of the Samsung Galaxy Watch7 Ultra smartwatch.
The Galaxy Watch7 Ultra watch brings some interesting design changes, among which the most notable change is that the dial is more square, with a new third physical button and a larger speaker.
The screen of the Galaxy Watch7 Ultra watch is round, but the outer frame is closer to square, looking rather unique overall.
The diameter of the round screen is 1.5 inches, exactly the same as the Galaxy Watch6 Classic. The overall size of the Watch7 Ultra is about 47 x 47.4 x 16.4 millimeters, slightly larger than the 46.5 x 46.5 x 10.9 millimeters of the Watch6 Classic, mainly due to the addition of an extra square frame around the circular display.
TapTechNews attaches the following pictures:
A third circular button is added in the middle on the right side of the watch. This new button, located between the traditional two buttons, can provide new functions for the Galaxy watch, similar to the 'action button' on the Apple Watch Ultra.
Unlike the ring sensor on the Galaxy Watch6 Classic, the circular array on the back of the Watch7 Ultra consists of separate circular and square shapes. It is worth noting that the Galaxy Watch7 Ultra retains the temperature sensor, but its position is slightly shifted upward to the center.
The strap also seems to blend more seamlessly with the body, with a more simplistic look. In addition, there are also two button-like elements on the top and bottom next to the sensor array.
Another subtle but important design change is the addition of a larger speaker grille. These grilles are located on the left side of the watch and are significantly larger than the grilles on existing Galaxy watches.
There are several small 'holes' on the body of the Galaxy Watch7 Ultra, and we guess these are microphones. Samsung seems to be fully committed to enhancing the microphone and audio experience of the Galaxy Watch7 Ultra.
