GAC Toyota to Launch New Crown Signia in China in October

TapTechNews June 28th news. During the GAC Toyota Technology Day held this morning, GAC Toyota disclosed that the all-new model, Toyota Crown Signia, will hit the Chinese market in October. This car is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system that is 'capable of fast charging' (specific information is temporarily unknown), and the WLTC pure-electric range is 90 kilometers, and the comprehensive range is over 1,200 kilometers.

The new car disclosed by GAC Toyota this time is the SUV model Crown Signia, which is positioned as a mid-to-large-sized vehicle. Referring to overseas models, its front face adopts a frameless central grid and is equipped with an irregular hexagonal grille, and the side of the car looks rather slender. The new car measures 4930/1880/1620 millimeters in length, width and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2850 millimeters.

This car is equipped with a 12.3-inch LCD instrument panel and a large central control screen, and the rear seat can be flattened to form a flat space with the trunk. In terms of power, the overseas version of the Crown is all equipped with a hybrid system, and you can choose 2.5-liter naturally aspirated engine and 2.4T turbocharged engine. Among them, the power of the 2.5-liter hybrid system is 249 horsepower at most, and the comprehensive power of the 2.4T hybrid system reaches 350 horsepower, and both can run by pure electricity.
