3DMark Steel Nomad Benchmark to Launch on Multiple Platforms

TapTechNews May 20th news, Christian Klass, the product director of 3DMark, announced on the social platform X tonight that the 3DMark Steel Nomad cross-platform benchmark will officially land on Windows, Windows on Arm, iOS and Android platforms tomorrow.

According to the introduction, the Steel Nomad cross-platform benchmark can be used to test the non-ray tracing game performance of high-performance devices on Windows, macOS and Linux.

Steel NomadLight is specifically designed for testing lightweight devices such as Windows laptops with integrated graphics, Windows-on-Arm devices, Apple M-series chip products, iOS and Android devices, etc.

Tomorrow, the Steel Nomad test will land on the Windows platform, and the more lightweight Steel NomadLight test will land on Windows, Windows on Arm, iOS and Android platforms, and the benchmark tests for other platform versions will be released later.

TapTechNews previously reported that the Steel Nomad test plan is to replace the TimeSpy test launched in 2016 and will be provided free of charge to existing 3DMark users.
