TapTechNews summarizes the general information of this intelligent cruise ship as follows:

The cruise ship was invested and built by the Three Gorges Tourism Group under the Yichang City Development Group. It is the first to apply the autonomous driving system, equipped with a 3154.32 kWh marine power battery pack, adopts a power battery + fuel + solar photovoltaic hybrid power, has a maximum passenger capacity of 780 people, and mainly operates routes such as the Two Dams and One Gorge, the Yangtze River Night Tour, and the Three Gorges Ship Lift.

The autonomous driving system it carries can attempt to realize functions such as autonomous entry and exit of the port, autonomous navigation, and autonomous lock passage on the Two Dams and One Gorge route. (The First Dam in China - Gezhou Dam, the World's First Dam - Three Gorges Dam, Three Gorges Grand Canyon). The ship has four floors of space with an all-transparent design. When the ship is sailing in the river, the dynamic landscape painting on both sides of the river is within reach.

The ship also uses power batteries and photovoltaic systems. Operating the Two Dams and One Gorge route is expected to replace more than 200 tons of fuel annually and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by more than 600 tons.

Before this, there was the Yangtze River Three Gorges 1 cruise ship - also the first-generation electric cruise ship. Driven by clean hydropower, it can replace about 530 tons of fuel every year and reduce the emission of more than 1600 tons of harmful gases. It is a green ship that truly realizes zero pollution and zero emission. Its power source is 15 independent battery packs, and the total battery capacity is about 7500 kWh, which is equivalent to the sum of the battery capacity of more than 100 electric vehicles and can sail continuously for about 100 kilometers at a speed of 16 kilometers per hour.
