Tesla's Supercharger Network Uptime and Expansion

TapTechNews May 24th news, Tesla's '2023 Impact Report' shows that the average uptime of the Supercharger network globally reaches 99.97%.

In 2019, the average uptime of the Supercharger network was 99.90%. In 2020, the average uptime of this network slightly decreased, and the score of the system at that time was 99.74%. It rose to 99.96% and 99.95% respectively in 2021 and 2022.

In addition, Musk also pointed out that although the expansion of the Supercharger network is not necessarily the top priority of the company at present, Tesla will focus on achieving 100% stable operation in the existing facilities.

Musk also said that even if the company updates its strategy, Tesla will still spend more than 500 million US dollars (TapTechNews note: currently about 3.625 billion RMB) this year to expand its Supercharger network.
