It is introduced that Momenta's end-to-end intelligent driving will be first installed on GAC Toyota's new all-electric model bZ3X (Platinum Smart 3X).
According to TapTechNews' previous report, during this year's Beijing Auto Show, Toyota announced a strategic cooperation with Tencent Holdings, and the cooperation fields of the two sides include three major fields: AI, cloud, and big data. Toyota's Chief Technology Officer Nakajima Hiroki said that vehicles equipped with the software jointly developed by the two sides will be launched within the year. "What kind of electric vehicle can make our Chinese customers beam with joy? With the joint efforts of our Chinese partners, we have developed bZ3C and bZ3X. These two models that debuted as concept cars at last year's Shanghai Auto Show have been upgraded to mass-production models. Toyota plans to start selling these two cars in China within one year."
The two new "verification codes" that debuted during the auto show - bZ3C was jointly developed by Toyota, BYD Auto Co., Ltd., FAW Toyota Motor Co., Ltd., and Toyota Motor (China) Co., Ltd. Intelligent Electric Vehicle R & D Center; bZ3X was jointly developed by Toyota, Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd., GAC Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. and others.
In terms of positioning, bZ3C will be for Generation Z consumers, and bZ3X is for family users.
