On June 18, according to the Technology Daily report, China's 600 kilometers per hour normal-conducting high-speed maglev construction technology is moving towards engineering application.
Wen Wangqing, deputy chief engineer of the Fourth Survey and Design Institute of China Railway, disclosed: We have basically mastered the key technologies of 600 kilometers per hour normal-conducting high-speed maglev transportation engineering construction. The major scientific research project of China Railway Construction led by the institute was successfully closed. The project has formed a series of independent intellectual property rights and guiding design principles in the key technologies of normal-conducting high-speed maglev construction, taking a big step forward to engineering application.
Min introduced that currently, the research results of this project have been successfully applied to some projects.
According to the previous report of IT Home, in May 2019, China's 600 kilometers per hour high-speed maglev test prototype was off the production line in Qingdao. This indicates that China has achieved a major breakthrough in the field of high-speed maglev technology.
In December 2023, the Ministry of Science and Technology stated that during the 13th Five-Year Plan period, the core technology of the 600 kilometers per hour high-speed maglev train has been conquered, and relying on the 14th Five-Year Plan national key research and development plan, it will continue to support the research on the engineering technology of high-speed maglev transportation system and the integration technology of operation system, study and form the 600 kilometers per hour high-speed maglev test line plan and a complete set of commercial operation solutions to provide scientific and technological support for the development of high-speed maglev transportation in China.
