AMD announced the Ryzen 79700X processor at Computex Taipei 2024, mainly targeting gamers, with 8 cores, 16 threads, a base clock frequency of 3.8 GHz, an acceleration clock frequency of 5.5 GHz, and 40 MB of cache, which is 100 MHz faster than the AMD Ryzen 77700X based on the Zen4 core architecture.
