According to TapTechNews' previous report, in January this year, the five ministries and commissions including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology jointly released the "Notice on Carrying out the Pilot Work of the "Vehicle-Road-Cloud Integration" Application of Intelligent Connected Vehicles, and the pilot period is from 2024 to 2026.
The Notice pointed out that adhering to the principle of "government guidance, market-driven, overall planning, and step-by-step construction", a batch of urban-level application pilot projects with the same architecture, unified standards, interoperable business, and safe and reliable will be built, promoting the construction of intelligent roadside infrastructure and cloud control basic platform, improving the installation rate of in-vehicle terminals, carrying out the system architecture design and multiple scene applications of intelligent connected vehicles "Vehicle-Road-Cloud Integration", forming a unified vehicle-road cooperation technical standard and test evaluation system, improving the road traffic safety guarantee ability, promoting the scale demonstration application and the exploration of new business models, and vigorously promoting the industrial development of intelligent connected vehicles.
