TapTechNews August 23rd news, Meituan CEO Wang Xing today released an internal email titled Company Organization Continues to Iterate, announcing the new progress of the organizational structure adjustment.
According to the email, Meituan further iterates the business portfolio and organizational structure:
The businesses such as SaaS (TapTechNews note: Software as a Service), cycling, and power bank are merged into Software and Hardware Services, which is in charge of Zhang Chuan.
The businesses such as Kuai Donkey, Xiaoxiang, and Youxuan are merged into Grocery Retail, which is in charge of Guo Wanhuai.
The Overseas Business is renamed Keeta and is in charge of Qiu Guangyu.
All the above business leaders report directly to Wang Xing.
This organizational iteration is a continuation of Meituan's business integration this year. At the beginning of this year, Meituan announced that it would adjust the organizational structure and integrate the original home delivery, in-store business group, basic R & D platform and Meituan platform, which is in charge of Wang Puzhong. The above business was then officially named as the Core Local Business sector.
According to Titanium Media, a source close to Meituan analyzed that aggregating power is also the key word of Meituan's organizational structure adjustment this year. After the integration of the core local business sector is completed, the integration of other businesses is also expected.
