Intel Core Ultra5245K Processor Appears on Geekbench with Promising Performance

TapTechNews August 15th news, today a test platform based on the Colorful iGameZ890ULTRA motherboard appeared on Geekbench, equipped with the Intel Core Ultra5245K processor.

The Ultra5245K is obviously the successor of the i5-14600K, featuring 6 P-cores and 8 E-cores, a total of 14 cores and 14 threads, with a base frequency of 4.20 GHz, a boost frequency of 5.2 GHz, and has a 24-MB L3 cache and a 125W (PL1) TDP.

This test platform is equipped with 32GB DDR5 memory and runs the Windows 11 system. In Geekbench 5.4.5 Tryout for Windows x86, it scores 2248 points in single-core and 18354 points in multi-core, comprehensively leading the i9-12900K. As a reference, the i9-13900K has 2280 points in single-core and 25854 points in multi-core in Geekbench 5, and the i9-14900K has 2410 points in single-core and 26901 points in multi-core.

If compared with the i5-14600K (2210/15533 points), this processor has a 18.1% improvement in multi-core, but only a 2% improvement in single-core. However, considering that there is only this one跑分 sample at present, we temporarily cannot regard it as a universal representative.
