Microsoft Resumes Windows 11 Version 24H2 Push, Updates on AI Feature

Windows Insider users received a rare Saturday update with a version number of 26100.863. There is no traditional update log for this update. The only official news is an update from a blog post on May 22, 2024:

June 15 update: We have resumed pushing Windows 11 version 24H2 to the ReleasePreview channel, with the internal version number being 26100.863.

Users can register their devices to the Windows Insider program by going to Settings > Windows Update > Join the Windows Insider Program and then update to Windows 11 version 24H2. It is expected that Microsoft will push the official version of 24H2 to the stable channel later this year.

TapTechNews noticed that another important announcement made by Microsoft this week is about the controversial AI feature Recall in its Windows 11 version 24H2. This feature will no longer be released on June 18. Microsoft plans to test this feature with the help of Windows Insider users with compatible hardware (Copilot + computer).
