Volvo EX30 Model Set to Launch in China with Multiple Options

On May 12th, TapTechNews reported that the Volvo EX30 model had already made its domestic debut at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show. The official announcement confirms that the new model will be launched on May 19th. The new car will be sold domestically in China in both single-motor and dual-motor versions, with a pre-sale price range of 21,000 to 26,000 RMB (3,135 to 3,885 USD).

According to TapTechNews, this new car is built on the SEA platform and embodies Volvo's latest design concepts. The Volvo EX30 measures 4233/1838/1555 mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2650 mm. It maintains similar dimensions to the overseas version and has a turning radius of 5.4 meters.

In the cabin, the car is equipped with a 12.3-inch single-screen infotainment system, with a strip speaker on one side of the dashboard below the windshield.

Regarding powertrain, the vehicle offers single-motor and dual-motor versions, with the latter delivering a maximum combined power of up to 315 kW. The car will be equipped with battery packs of 49 kWh and 66 kWh capacities, offering pure electric ranges of 410 km, 540 km, and 590 km.
