Beijing Hyundai Unveils New Santa Fe SUV Model at MIIT, Set to Launch in August

TapTechNews May 12th Beijing Hyundai's new Santa Fe SUV model has been unveiled in the latest application diagram of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The car debuted at the Guangzhou Auto Show last year and will officially go on sale in August this year.

On the exterior, the car adopts the OpenforMore design concept, with a front face featuring a continuous daytime running light, a floating roof, and a black roof luggage rack. The front grille adopts a dual-layer design, both of which use a dynamic black honeycomb pattern.

On the interior, the car offers a dual 12.3-inch central control screen, with a 6.6-inch color air conditioning control panel below the central screen. It also provides a wireless charging panel, ambient lighting, a multifunction steering wheel, and more.

In terms of specifications, the car measures 4830x1900x1770mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2815mm. It is expected to continue the 2.0T+8AT powertrain from the previous generation, but TapTechNews notes that the specific parameters have not yet been officially announced.
