AMD's Ryzen 5 5500X3D Processor Discovered in EEC Filing, Comparisons and Speculations

TapTechNews August 13th news, a source on X platform, Ensaka Komachi (@KOMACHI_ENSAKA), discovered that in the AMD's registration and filing documents with the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) publicly available on the 6th of this month, it includes the yet-to-be-released Ryzen 5 5500X3D processor.

TapTechNews noticed that all other AMD CPU products in the same filing document have already been officially announced and launched.

Another source on X platform, chi11eddog (@g01d3nm4ng0), previously disclosed the specifications of the Ryzen 5 5500X3D and Ryzen 7 5700X3D CPUs on December 14, 2023, accurately hitting the frequency information of the latter.

@g01d3nm4ng0r at that time believed that the Ryzen 5 5500X3D would adopt a 6-core 12-thread design, with an accelerated clock frequency of 4.0 GHz and a base clock frequency of 3.0 GHz, and be equipped with 96 MB L3 cache.

AMD launched the Ryzen 5 5600X3D processor with the same 6-core 12-thread for the North American distributor MicroCenter in the middle of 2023.

The accelerated clock frequency and base clock frequency of the Ryzen 5 5600X3D are 4.4 GHz and 3.3 GHz, which are 400 MHz and 300 MHz higher than the frequencies of the Ryzen 5 5500X3D that appeared in the previous disclosure respectively.
