We are optimistic that the planned Windows 10 end of life in 2025, the launch of Windows 12 and the introduction of a new generation of AIPCs will accelerate the PC replacement cycle starting in late CY 2024.

However, Micron did not explicitly state in this expression the company's prediction of the release time of the Windows 12 operating system.

And in this presentation, Micron also mentioned that although the current consumption of wafers by HBM3E memory has roughly reached three times that of standard DDR5, it is estimated that the wafer consumption ratio of HBM4(E) will further increase.

This situation, combined with the continuous increase in the demand for HBM memory in the AI industry, will lead to tight DRAM memory supply in all end markets.
