F1 and Apple Original Films Announce 2025 Release Date of Brad Pitt's Film

TapTechNews June 18th news, F1 and Apple Original Films announced today that the F1 original film directed by Joseph Kosinski, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and starring Brad Pitt will be released globally on June 25, 2025 and in North America on June 27.

According to the introduction, the official title of this project has not been determined yet. Warner Bros. is in charge of theatrical distribution and an IMAX version will also be released.

Brad Pitt (Brad Pitt) will play a former Formula 1 driver who returns to the track in this film, while Damson Idris will play his rookie teammate in the APXGP team, a fictional team that they will compete with the drivers and teams in this sport.

The film started shooting in 2023 and will continue to shoot at this year's British Grand Prix and several other races and will be completed at the end of the season at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in December.

TapTechNews note: The vehicles used for the shooting are modified based on the Dallara F2 racing car to be as close as possible to the real F1 racing car in appearance.

According to TheRace report, this film was photographed by netizens shooting a stunt car crash scene at the Silverstone Circuit in the UK in early June.
