Tencent's Food Tale Stopped Operation in Chinese Mainland

TapTechNews June 18th news, due to the agency agreement expiration, Tencent's Chinese cuisine anthropomorphic national style female-oriented RPG cultivation mobile game Food Tale has stopped its operation in the Chinese mainland at 11:00 today.

The official said that the developer, Guangzhou TianTi Network Technology Co., Ltd., is expected to launch the Food Tale Companion Version in the third quarter of this year. The companion version is a completely free version without any profit-making content in the original version, and players need to create new accounts.

According to the introduction, the companion version will retain all the important functions in the game, while greatly reducing the overall liverness and cultivation difficulty of the game, and optimizing and streamlining some gameplay systems.

In the original online game Food Tale, this game started public beta on September 3, 2019 (the Japanese server was released on November 3, 2020), and it has gone through 4 complete operating years so far.
