Xiaomi's Automobile Update June Double Shifts and Delivery Goals

TapTechNews May 23rd news, Lei Jun, the founder, chairman and CEO of Xiaomi, just tweeted that at the Xiaomi quarterly analyst meeting, Xiaomi shared some news about Xiaomi cars, including opening double shifts in the factory in June and delivering at least 10,000 units that month. At least 100,000 units will be delivered this year, and strive for 120,000 units.

TapTechNews previously reported that today Xiaomi Group announced its first quarter financial report for 2024, among which, the intelligent electric vehicle business was mentioned for the first time. However, since the Xiaomi SU7 was officially released on March 28 and deliveries started in April, its income was not counted in the current financial report.

The financial report shows that as of April 30, 2024, the cumulative locked order volume of the Xiaomi SU7 series reached 88,063 units. As of May 15, 2024, the cumulative delivery of new cars of the Xiaomi SU7 series reached 10,000 units.

In terms of the construction of the sales and service network, Xiaomi cars plans to expand the sales and service network to 219 sales stores covering 46 cities and 143 service centers covering 86 cities by the end of 2024, basically covering all provincial-level administrative regions in the Chinese mainland.
