Baojun Yunhai New Intelligent SUV to Debut in Q3

TapTechNews June 12th news, the brand-new intelligent SUV model Baojun Yunhai under the Baojun brand will be launched in the third quarter of this year. This car is built on the D platform of the Tianyu architecture and will be equipped with the brand-new generation of Lingmou Intelligent Driving System, which is the first 600-mile long-range intelligent SUV of Baojun Automobile.

Zhou Xing, the deputy general manager of the SAIC-GM-Wuling Brand Division, said that the reason why Baojun Yunhai can achieve a 600-kilometer range, in addition to the enlarged battery, is also that it has optimized its drag coefficient to a level of 0.259 Cd, which is definitely rare among SUVs of the same level.

Baojun Yunhai is positioned as a compact SUV, with dimensions of 4541*1880*1608mm (length * width * height) and a wheelbase of 2750mm.

According to the previous report of TapTechNews, the information declared in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology shows that this new car will provide two models of pure electric and plug-in hybrid for selection, and the appearance is more sharp and dynamic compared to the previously launched Baojun Yundu.

Baojun Yunhai's vehicle design focuses on technology and simplicity. In terms of power, it is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system composed of a 1.5L engine and a motor. The maximum power of the 1.5L engine is 78 kilowatts; the pure electric model is equipped with a drive motor with a maximum power of 150 kilowatts, and the CLTC cruising range can reach 600 kilometers.
