Ferrari to Keep Internal Combustion Engines, Balance Electric and Traditional

Ferrari will not give up internal combustion engines in the coming years and is still committed to providing a full range of power systems for a wide range of buyers, according to Bloomberg, Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna (Benedetto Vigna) said on June 17th.

"Ferrari needs to be able to provide customers with a unique driving experience, regardless of the type of engine drive," Vigna said. This means traditional, hybrid and pure electric options.

For this automaker, this is a delicate balance because younger buyers tend to prefer electric vehicles, but many older customers are reluctant to give up the iconic roar of Ferrari.

He said in an interview, "Some potential customers told me that they would only join the Ferrari community if they could buy an electric car, while others said they would never buy an electric Ferrari."

According to TapTechNews' previous report, Ferrari's first electric car will come out in the fourth quarter of next year, and CEO Vigna promised that the electric car will provide the same engine roar as a fuel engine, and he believes that this pure electric supercar can sell as well as a fuel car.
