China FAW Partners with iFLYTEK and NIO

TapTechNews on May 22nd reported that on May 21st, the Jilin-Anhui Cooperation Development Exchange Symposium was held in Changchun. At the meeting, China FAW signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with iFLYTEK and NIO.

According to the strategic cooperation framework agreement, China FAW and iFLYTEK will give full play to their technological product advantages, industrial and market experience in their respective fields, and carry out practical cooperation around infrastructure represented by the intelligent computing center, algorithms and tools, intelligent platforms (including large models, big data, knowledge bases), and intelligent solutions for enterprise and automotive scenarios.

China FAW and NIO will further exert their respective advantages and carry out all-round and multi-level strategic cooperation around battery technical standards, research and development of rechargeable and swappable battery models, battery asset management and operation, construction and operation of charging and swapping power supplement ecological service network, and procurement and matching of battery industry.

TapTechNews noted that currently, the number of automakers that have joined the NIO battery swap alliance has reached 8. In addition to NIO, the other 7 are China FAW, GAC Group, Changan Automobile, Geely Holding, Chery Automobile, Jianghuai Automobile Group, and Lotus.
