Honor X40GT Series MagicOS 8.0 Public Beta Starts

TapTechNews May 22nd news, the MagicOS 8.0 public beta activity of the Honor X40GT and Honor X40GT Racing Edition series has started recruitment on May 21st, and users who have installed the 7.0.0.2237 baseline version can apply for registration.

This internal test activity only supports registration on the My Honor App side. Please make sure that the My Honor App is upgraded to version 11.0.0.255 or above before registration (please upgrade through My Honor App->My->Upper right corner settings->Check for updates).

TapTechNews attached the registration entrance and method: Please open the My Honor App on your phone->Club->Upgrade to Taste Fresh->Public Beta Application, and then register and upgrade according to the prompts.

Notes before upgrading:

(1) Before upgrading to the public beta version, please back up the important data of your mobile phone and confirm that the backup content is complete and valid to avoid data loss due to data incompatibility or other unexpected situations after the upgrade.

(2) Before upgrading to the public beta version, please ensure that the current version of your mobile phone is on the baseline version (see II. Adapted models for details).

(3) It is recommended to reserve 10GB of internal storage space for the mobile phone to avoid the inability to upgrade due to insufficient space (method to view storage space: Settings->Storage).

(4) Please ensure that your mobile phone is not ROOT.
