Tesla Files Recall for 2024 Cybertruck Due to Rear-View Camera Issue

TapTechNews October 3rd news, Tesla has filed a recall application with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) for including 27,185 units of the 2024 Cybertruck model.

It is said that there is an image delay problem when the rear-view camera of these Cybertrucks is transmitted to the display screen, which poses a safety hazard and also violates federal laws.

NHTSA stated that the root cause of this problem is that the system does not complete the closing process before restarting. If the driver starts to reverse before the system completes the restart process, the reversing image may be delayed by 6 to 8 seconds before appearing.
