SHEIN's Guangzhou Bay Area Supply Chain Project Starts Construction

TapTechNews October 3rd news, the first phase project of the Guangzhou SHEIN Bay Area Supply Chain of the cross-border e-commerce SHEIN (Siyin) started construction in Zhongxin Town, Zengcheng District on September 28th.

SHEIN is an international B2C fast fashion e-commerce company, mainly engaged in women's clothing, and also provides men's clothing, children's clothing, accessories, shoes, bags and other fashion items. It is a global top five unicorn enterprise.

The project will be built into a modern supply chain center integrating operations, warehousing, stocking, picking, distribution, shipping, settlement, etc., providing core support for SHEIN's global sales. The logistics in the park adopts a fully automated system throughout the chain, which can realize the whole process of intelligence from goods receiving, identification, sorting, packaging to outbound.

The first phase project of the Guangzhou SHEIN Bay Area Supply Chain has an investment of 3.69 billion yuan, and the total construction area is not less than 800,000 square meters. It will build order fulfillment businesses such as operation, warehousing, shipping and settlement, and it is expected to introduce about 30,000 to 40,000 industrial talents at the peak period.

TapTechNews learned that the total investment of the project is 10 billion yuan, which will be constructed in three phases. After all phases are fully operational, the expected annual export value exceeds 100 billion yuan, and about 100,000 industrial talents will be introduced at the peak period.
