MediaTek Announces Revenue Data and Tech Developments in 2024

TapTechNews, June 7. MediaTek today announced its revenue data for May 2024. Its consolidated revenue in May was NT$42.15 billion (TapTechNews note: currently about 9.46 billion Chinese yuan), an increase of 33.53% year-on-year and a 0.29% increase month-on-month.

In the first five months of 2024, MediaTek's consolidated revenue was NT$217.637 billion (currently about 48.848 billion Chinese yuan), an increase of 39.9% year-on-year.

In May this year, MediaTek held the 2024 MediaTek Dimensity Developer Conference in Shenzhen, with the theme of AI for All, and launched the latest Dimensity 9300+ processor, and made efforts in AI cooperation, linked with Dimensity platform partners such as Alibaba Cloud, Baichuan Intelligent, Transsion, ZeroOneAll, OPPO, Honor, vivo, and Xiaomi to jointly kick off the Dimensity AI Pioneer Program.

In addition, MediaTek is developing the Dimensity 9400 flagship chip and has confirmed to carry the latest Cortex-X925 CPU and Immortalis-G925 GPU solutions introduced by Arm.

On June 4, at the 2024 Computex Taipei, MediaTek announced that it has joined the Arm Total Design ecological project to provide differentiated solutions through the verified Arm Neoverse CSS, while accelerating the product launch process while meeting the complex AI computing needs.
