ASUS Showcases High-End 1440p 480Hz OLED Gaming Monitor with Innovative Features

TapTechNews August 23rd news, after being showcased at the 2024 Taipei Computex, ASUS once again showcased the "world's first 1440p 480Hz OLED gaming monitor" ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP at the Gamescom in Cologne, and announced that the monitor's price is 1099 euros (TapTechNews note: currently about 8730 RMB), and it enjoys a 3-year warranty.

The ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP monitor uses a 26.5-inch WOLED panel and an anti-glare coating, with a response time of 0.03 milliseconds, and adopts OLED display technologies including ELMB, OLED anti-flicker, and OLEDCare+.

In addition, the monitor screen also adopts a new RWGB sub-pixel layout, so that the screen presents clearer text.

A major highlight of this monitor is its semi-transparent back design, which is different from other ROG gaming monitors. Unfortunately, the tech media overclock3d couldn't observe this screen closely and couldn't see all the input interfaces of this monitor, but you can see that it supports DisplayPort and HDMI 2.1.

ASUS equips this monitor with AI technologies such as AI Visual, AI Crosshair, AI Sniper, AI ShadowBoost, and MOBA Map Helper to improve the gaming experience.
