TapTechNews August 27th news, the Douyin boutique theater IP 9527 Theater announced today that its second boutique micro-drama Big Talk Big Talk Westward Journey is expected to go online by the end of this year. The drama is produced by Stephen Chow, with Jiang Long and Zhang Tian'ai serving as supervisors and starring, and directed by Wang Jianhua and Song Tianshuo.

Big Talk Big Talk Westward Journey tells the story of the 500th year after Journey to the West: when Supreme Treasure is busy dealing with Pak Jing-jing, in a mountain stronghold hundreds of miles away, the little carpenter Supreme Jade is also judged by the powerful Lingshi female warrior Moonlight as the reincarnation of Sun Wukong, and the two decide to set off on the road to Huaguo Mountain to find their destiny and memory.

As can be seen from the drama title, this drama is an innovative development of Stephen Chow's classic comedy film A Chinese Odyssey: Part One - Pandora's Box.

According to TapTechNews' previous report, the first micro-drama Golden Pig Jade Leaf jointly developed and operated by Douyin and Stephen Chow under the 9527 Theater has been launched on June 2nd. Currently, two seasons have been launched, with the playback volumes on the Douyin platform reaching 280 million and 150 million respectively.
