Philips to Release 34B2U6603CH and 34B2U5600C Ultra-Wide Monitors This Month

TapTechNews August 15th news, Philips released a press release yesterday (August 14th), announcing that it will launch the 34B2U6603CH and 34B2U5600C ultra-wide monitors this month, with prices of £599.99 (TapTechNews note: currently about $770) and £439.99 (currently about $565) respectively.

Both monitors feature a 34-inch ultra-wide screen with a resolution of 3440x1440 pixels and are positioned as office monitors. The specifications are basically the same, and the main difference lies in the connection aspect.

This monitor adopts a stylish and simplistic thin bezel design, supports an ultra-wide resolution of 1440p, a curvature of 1500R, which can provide a better sense of immersion and supports DisplayHDR400.

This monitor uses a VA panel with a response time of 4ms GtG and a maximum refresh rate of up to 120Hz, offering excellent fluidity. The DP1.4 and Thunderbolt4 ports both support 120Hz at a resolution of 3440x1440p, while HDMI can support up to 100Hz at most.

This monitor has a maximum brightness of 450 nits in SDR mode and can increase to 550 nits in HDR mode. The color gamut includes 101% NTSC and 120% sRGB, with vivid colors and high color accuracy, and the DeltaE of sRGB is less than 2.

34B2U5600C

This monitor has basically the same configuration as 34B2U6603CH, but does not support HDR and Thunderbolt4, and users can only use the HDMI port with a maximum of 100Hz or the DP1.4 port with a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz.
