Nicholas Yue was born in France and graduated from the Art Center College of Design in Sweden, with more than 25 years of automotive design experience. TapTechNews attaches the following resume:
1. Chief senior designer at BMW headquarters
Led and participated in the design of models including the 1 Series, 4 Series, 6 Series, ZAGATO Coupe & Roadster, concept car Z18 and the Vision iNext electric vehicle representing the future development trend of BMW.
2. Design director of GM-Pan Asia
Led the design of Buick and Chevrolet global and local Chinese models, especially the third-generation Buick GL8, which once became a best-selling model in the Chinese market.
3. Vice president of design at Borgward
Led the global design department in Beijing and Stuttgart, focusing on forward-looking design and development of the intelligent electric vehicle platform.
4. Global design director of HiPhi Motors
Led the Hiphi design team in Shanghai and Tokyo, and led six intelligent electric vehicle projects including Hiphi X/Y/Z.
