New Chang'an Qiyuan A05 Spotted in Announcement with Design Changes and Hybrid System

TapTechNews on July 13th, in the new product publicity of the 385th batch of the Announcement of Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, TapTechNews found the new Chang'an Qiyuan A05.

This new car adopts the same front face design as the current model, with a closed front grille and a hidden door handle on the side of the body. It should be noted that the rear design of the new Chang'an Qiyuan A05 has been greatly changed, adopting a new through-type taillight group and adding the NEVO logo, which was previously a traditional split taillight.

The declared information shows that the length, width and height* of this new car is 188.38*72.44*57.48 inches (4785*1840*1460 mm), and the wheelbase is 108.86 inches (2765 mm). The body size is the same as that of the current Chang'an Qiyuan A05 True Fragrance version.

In terms of power, the car is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system composed of a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine and an electric motor, and the maximum power of the engine is 96 horsepower (72 kW), while the maximum power of the engine of the current Chang'an Qiyuan A05 True Fragrance version is 109 horsepower (81 kW), and the battery capacity and cruising range have not been announced for the time being.
