As its name implies, this motherboard has many similarities to the Z790-AYWWIFIW that TapTechNews has reported before. It also adopts a 12+1-phase power supply, and is equipped with 1 Gen4x16 main PCIe slot, 3 Gen4x4 M.2 slots and 1 set of Thunderbolt 4 pins.

However, the Z790-AYWOCWiFi only has 2 DDR5 memory slots, which is an overclocking optimized design with single memory slot per channel of 1SPC, and new overclocking-oriented configurations such as Debug lights and Reset physical buttons have been added.

According to the Bilibili dynamic of ASUS ROG official hardware engineer Bing Ge Bing, this motherboard can boot at 10000 MT/s under air cooling, pass the test at 8200 MT/s under a 360 all-in-one water cooler, and can even set a record of 11150 MT/s under liquid nitrogen cooling.
