The Olympic Games will be held in Paris, France this year and will open on July 26th and close on August 11th. Different from before, the International Olympic Committee will hold the 2024 Olympic Games opening ceremony outside the stadium for the first time. All athletes will take boats representing their respective competing countries to drift along the Seine River, and Samsung will install more than 200 Galaxy S24 Ultra on these boats to capture the wonderful images of the athletes' parade in HDR quality and live stream them to fans around the world.

This live stream will take advantage of France's first independent 5G network. Orange, the official network operator of the Olympic Games, will set up 12 5G base stations along the Seine River to build this special network.

Samsung says it will also use the same 5G network and Galaxy S24 Ultra to live stream the sailing race held in Marseille, and a phone will be installed on each competing vessel.

TapTechNews noticed that Samsung will release the Galaxy Z Fold6, Galaxy Z Flip6, Galaxy Watch 7, the new Galaxy Buds and its first-generation smart ring Galaxy Ring on July 10th. The conference will be held in Paris. The Galaxy Ring is expected to be the highlight of the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked conference. After the start of the Olympic Games, Samsung may vigorously promote new products across France.
