AMD Releases Chipset Driver for Windows 11 24H2 with Support for WDDM 3.2_0

Technology media Windows Latest reported that the biggest highlight of the new version of Ryzen 6.05.28.016 update is the support for WDDM 3.2.

The full name of WDDM is Windows Display Driver Model, which is Microsoft's new-generation graphics driver program model. AMD initially supports WDDM 3.2 in this update.

WDDM 3.2 introduces several changes, especially optimizing the use of GPU and NPU in cloud scenarios. It should be noted that NPU optimization is only applicable to PCs equipped with a dedicated NPU chip. In addition to NPU optimization, a notable feature is dirty bit tracking, which can improve the performance of VRAM data transmission.

The chipset driver mainly improves the communication between the operating system and the motherboard components. This released driver update ensures that the motherboard is compatible with the upcoming Windows 11 24H2.
