On May 13th, TapTechNews learned that following the submission to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Changan Automobile officially released the official images of the all-new Changan CS75PLUS model. The new generation model features a fresh exterior design, longer body dimensions, and is equipped with a 1.5T engine, with expectations for an official launch in the second half of the year.
In terms of appearance, the new car adopts a latest design style, with a trapezoidal grille and a dot-matrix structure. Additionally, the new car also features a family-style front headlight group design with parallel LED light source.
At the rear, the all-new CS75PLUS adopts the popular through-style taillights. Looking at the side profile, the new car is equipped with hidden door handles and a roof rack.
TapTechNews noted that the new car has dimensions of 4770/1910/1695 (1705) mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2800mm, making it longer than the current third-generation CS75PLUS.
In terms of power, the new car is powered by a 1.5T engine with the codenames JL473ZQ7 and JL473ZQD, with maximum power of 138kW/141kW. The car is currently only available in a fuel version, but based on Changan Automobile's previous product plans, a plug-in hybrid version may be possible in the future under the Changan Qiyuan series.
