DiDi Chuxing Forecasts for National Day Holiday Travel and Energy Demands

TapTechNews learned from the report that DiDi Chuxing predicts that the demand for taking a taxi to large transportation hubs such as airports and railway stations will increase significantly starting from September 29th, reaching the peak on September 30th. The taxi-taking peak on the last day before the National Day holiday will be advanced to 11 a.m. and is expected to last until 9 p.m., among which the taxi-taking demand from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. is the strongest, and the daily taxi-taking demand on that day will increase by about 58% compared to usual.

DiDi Chuxing also wrote that during the holiday, users' travel arrangements are more relaxed, and it is expected that the morning peak of taking a taxi will appear from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., which is more than 2 hours later than usual, and the taxi-taking demand for leisure and entertainment will reach the peak on October 1st. The peak period of returning after the holiday is also longer than that of the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday. It is expected that from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on October 7th, there will be a continuous taxi-taking demand peak lasting about 8 hours.

DiDi Refueling predicts that the refueling peak will be advanced to September 30th and is expected to last for 3 days, and there will be 4 refueling peak periods, which are from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. on September 30th, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on October 1st, and from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on October 2nd. The refueling demand in cities such as Chengdu, Foshan, Shantou, Shenzhen, Dongguan, and Chongqing will increase significantly during the holiday.

Xiaoju Charging predicts that the charging peak will be advanced to September 29th and is expected to last for 3 days, and the peak is expected to appear on September 30th. During this period, there will be 5 main peak periods: from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on September 29th, from 12 a.m. to 2 a.m., from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. and from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on September 30th, and from 12 a.m. to 2 a.m. on October 1st. The charging demand in cities such as Changsha, Hangzhou, Huizhou, Xiamen, and Chongqing is expected to increase significantly before the holiday.
