Jikr 001 Owner in Hefei Encountered Door Unlocking Problem

TapTechNews May 26th news, according to @ColdandHotVideo report, on May 24th, the owner of Jikr 001 in Hefei, Anhui claimed that on the way home, he found that the vehicle couldn't be unlocked. After unlocking downstairs at home, all the doors couldn't be opened.

The person involved, Mr. Yu, said that the door showed it was open, but there was only a slit. Later, his family opened it from the outside to get out. He was trapped in the car for more than 10 minutes. During this period, he called Jikr's after-sales service to report, and the other party informed that the vehicle did not report a fault code, and the background data showed normal, and could not give an accurate answer as to what fault caused it. Mr. Yu said that a similar situation had occurred before, when the door could not be opened from the outside at that time, and he felt that there was a potential safety hazard.

In response, Jikr customer service responded today (May 26th) that currently the staff is following up and dealing with this matter, and can send the headquarters staff to intervene and assist in following up and dealing with it.

As of TapTechNews' posting, Jikr has not publicly responded to this matter for the time being, and it is still not clear whether the vehicle involved is the new 001 model or the old model.

According to the information previously announced by Jikr, the sales volume of the new Jikr 001 model in April was 11,729 units per month. The car was launched on February 27th, and the price range is 269,000 - 329,000 yuan ($40,350 - $49,350).
