Great Wall Motors Announces Upcoming Tank 400 Gasoline Version

TapTechNews August 24th news, in May this year, Gu Yukun, the executive deputy general manager of the Tank brand, posted that the diesel version of the Tank 300 and the gasoline version of the Tank 400 are expected to promote this plan in the form of co-creation. Today, Great Wall Motors officially announced that the gasoline version of the Tank 400 is 'coming soon'.

Currently, the Tank 400 only provides Hi4-T models (plug-in hybrid system), and the retail price of the 2024 urban version is 289,800 yuan ($41,290), and the retail price of the 2024 off-road version is 285,800 yuan ($40,870).

For reference, the body size of the Tank 400Hi4-T model is 4985*1960*1900mm (about 196.3*77.2*74.8 inches), and the wheelbase is 2850mm (about 112.2 inches). It is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system composed of a 2.0 engine and a motor, with a combined power of 300kW and a combined torque of 750N・m. The car is equipped with configurations such as W-HUD head-up display, 12.3-inch full LCD instrument panel, 16.2-inch central control color LCD screen, streaming media rearview mirror, vehicle networking, and 540° panoramic image.

The 27th Chengdu International Automobile Exhibition will be held in 'China Western International Expo City' in Chengdu, Sichuan Province from August 30th to September 8th, 2024. This exhibition will be the first A-class auto show in the second half of 2024 in China. Domestic A-class auto shows include Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, and Chongqing auto shows.
