FiiO Unveils TT13 Automatic Turntable with Metal Shock-Resistant Body
TapTechNews August 24th news, FiiO held a press conference today and launched its first metal shock-resistant body, fully automatic turntable TT13. The initial launch offers black and silver versions for selection, among which the silver version will be available in mid-September, while the black and white versions will be available in October.
The standard version costs 1599 yuan.
The Bluetooth version costs 1688 yuan.
In terms of appearance, TT13 adopts precisely polished aluminum alloy metal panels, uses the white cartridge AT-3600LA that is popular worldwide by Audio-Technica, and designs an easily detachable dust cover. The whole machine weighs nearly 4 pounds (about 1.814 kilograms); it has its own RGB light with 7 switchable, adjustable brightness, and turn-offable light effects.
In terms of audio, TT13 adopts a full analog audio architecture and is equipped with two imported classic JRC5532 operational amplifiers, which are connected in series to form a two-stage amplifier circuit to ensure that each stage of the circuit works in the ideal amplification range. Combined with multiple electrolytic capacitors and independent LDO power supply, the circuit has less noise and the sound is purer.
TT13 has an automatic tonearm and doesn't require moving the cartridge, and it can automatically control playback, and it can also move the cartridge left and right to select songs or play in a loop; it adopts a HiFi-level analog audio architecture and has a built-in high-power phono stage, thereby reducing the cost of building a vinyl system.
Unlike most turntables, TT13 has a built-in professional power amplifier circuit, and the line output level can reach 800 mV@1kHz0dB, while the input sensitivity of most active speakers on the market is lower than 800 mV. FiiO TT13 can be played with almost all active speakers.
TT13 Bluetooth version adopts the Qualcomm Bluetooth platform and supports higher-definition aptX/aptX Low Latency/aptX HD/SBC Bluetooth transmission. It is standard with a customized infrared remote control, supports aptX high-definition Bluetooth transmission, and adopts DC/AC dual power supply design and external channel balance adjustment.
In addition, TT13 has a built-in switching power supply, an external adjustable balance potentiometer, and supports AC power supply with a wide voltage range of 100-240V; at the same time, there is also a DC power supply interface, and the background noise will be smaller and the sound will be purer when using DC power supply.
In other aspects, TT13 provides a 7-inch and 12- inch record switching switch on the back and a speed switching switch on the front, and also specially designs a transparent turntable and a transparent record mat (TapTechNews note: sold separately after the machine goes on the market).
