Krafton Partners with Pocketpair for 'Palworld' Mobile Game Development

TapTechNews October 2nd, Krafton (formerly known as Bluehole), the developer of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, announced in a public notice that it has signed a mobile game development cooperation agreement for 'Palworld' with the Japanese game developer Pocketpair.

According to the introduction, this project will be in the charge of the PUBG STUDIOS development team under Krafton, and they plan to faithfully restore and reinterpret the main interesting elements of the original work to adapt to mobile devices.

TapTechNews previously reported that 'Palworld' was officially released on January 19, 2024, and within one month of its release, the cumulative sales on Steam reached 15 million copies.

'Palworld' can be played by a single player, or up to 4 players can play online simultaneously through a private server, and it also supports up to 32 players to play online games on the same server.
