Lynk & Co. Unveils New Pure Electric Model ZERO

TapTechNews June 10th news, Lynk & Co. today released the latest teaser image of its all-new pure electric model - Lynk & Co. ZERO, showing some of the design highlights of this model. Lynk & Co. ZERO (internal code E371) is on the same platform as Zeekr 001, adopts a streamlined fastback design, is positioned as a mid-to-large size pure electric sedan and will make its debut on June 12th.

TapTechNews noticed that from the teaser image, it can be seen that the tail design of Lynk & Co. ZERO includes the brand's unique through-type taillights, and one of the images shows that the taillights show a pink-blue gradient color, suggesting that the taillights may have a color-changing function. In addition, the rear of the car is also equipped with a small ducktail-type spoiler and a retractable electric rear wing, adding a sense of sportiness.

In terms of exterior design, Lynk & Co. ZERO inherits the family characteristics, but compared to Lynk & Co. 08 EM-P, the details of the daytime running lights have been fine-tuned. The new car adopts a two-tone body paint, hidden door handles, as well as low wind resistance rims and brake calipers of the same color as the body. The vehicle is also equipped with configurations such as a panoramic sunroof and a lookout tower-type LiDAR.

In terms of interior, the central control area of Lynk & Co. ZERO is designed simply, with almost no physical buttons. The steering wheel is a double-spoke D-shaped design with a multifunctional button area with a paddle and a column-mounted shift lever. The instrument panel adopts a slender embedded design, and the car is also equipped with a large-size floating central control screen. It is expected that there will be a through-type air outlet on the right side, and the door opening method is electric button.

Lynk & Co. ZERO is built on a full-domain 800-volt high-voltage platform and is equipped with a pure electric drive system (specific power information has not been disclosed yet), and integrates AI digital chassis technology, including double-chamber air suspension and CDC electromagnetic suspension. The new car may also support rear-wheel steering, tank turn and crab walk mode, and its configuration and functions are expected to be comparable to that of the 2024 Zeekr 001.
