FAW Pentium's Pony Model Starts Production and Pre-sale

TapTechNews May 17th news, this morning, the Pony model under FAW Pentium was put into production and off the assembly line at the Yancheng branch of FAW Group. Previously, this new car has started pre-sale, and the pre-sale price range is $4500-$5500, and it will be officially launched on May 28th.

122km Cute Pony $4600

170km Energetic Pony $4900

170km Dynamic Pony $5500

In terms of differentiation, compared with the Energetic Pony, the Cute Pony model increases the battery capacity to 13.9 kWh, and the range is increased to 170 km; compared with the Energetic Pony, the Dynamic Pony adds the reversing image function, and the number of in-car speakers is increased to 2.

According to the previous introduction, Pentium Pony provides 6 body colors including camellia green, sky blue, bubble blue, jasmine white, peach pink, and cheese white, and the cockpit provides 5 colors including beach gold, peach pink, bubble blue, sky blue, and camellia green. The car has a length, width and height of 3000/1510/1630 mm (about 9.84/4.96/5.31 feet) respectively, and the wheelbase is 1953 mm (about 6.41 feet).

In terms of configuration, the car provides a liquid crystal instrument, a knob-type shift, a two-color seat, a rear parking radar, remote unlocking, a driver's seat airbag, etc.

In terms of power, the car is equipped with a single motor with a maximum power of 20 kilowatts and a maximum torque of 85 Newton-meters. Two battery packs with capacities of 9.4 kWh and 13.9 kWh can be selected, and the corresponding pure electric range under the CLTC working condition is 122 kilometers and 170 kilometers.
