TCL Announces Impressive Performance for 2023 with Revenue Growth

The performance report data shows that TCL Industrial's operating income was RMB 120.32 billion, a year-on-year increase of 13%; the overall gross profit margin reached 20.5%, a year-on-year increase of 1 percentage point; and the pretax operating profit reached RMB 4.32 billion, a year-on-year increase of 51%.

TCL Television

Adopting a dual-brand strategy of TCL+Lei Niao, TCL's global TV shipments reached 25.26 million units in 2023, a year-on-year increase of 6%, with a shipment market share rising to 12.5%, ranking second globally.

The global shipments of TCL's high-end products TCL MiniLED TV and TCL Quantum Dot TV increased by 180% and 116% year-on-year respectively.

TCL Air Conditioning

In 2023, TCL achieved a global air conditioner shipment of 15.49 million sets, a year-on-year increase of 20%, ranking fourth globally in shipment market share, with its main business revenue reaching RMB 24.09 billion, a year-on-year increase of 19%.

TCL Smart Home

TCL Smart Home successfully completed the strategic acquisition of Hefei home appliances in 2023, with the main business revenue reaching RMB 15.01 billion, a year-on-year increase of 31%. Global shipments of refrigerators and washing machines reached 14.19 million units and 2.56 million units, with year-on-year growth of 36% and 19% respectively.

Semiconductor Field

TCL Industrial's subsidiary GriDongZhi provided a full-stack digital solution, achieving main business revenue of RMB 1.45 billion in 2023, a year-on-year increase of 16%. GriDongZhi has built a stack CIM solution for intelligent factories in panels and chips.

Environmental Protection Field

TCL Industrial's TCL Environmental Technology achieved main business revenue of RMB 2.36 billion in segmented fields such as electrical and electronic recycling, hazardous waste treatment, new materials and general solid waste recycling, and comprehensive environmental services, a year-on-year increase of 15%.
