Resident Evil 2 Remake Game's Sales Surge to 13.9 Million Copies Worldwide

TapTechNews June 22nd news, the game Resident Evil 2 Remake was launched in 2019, and in July 2022 it was officially announced that 10 million copies had been sold worldwide. And yesterday the official announced that the global sales exceeded 13.9 million copies in the past five years (as of March 31, 2024), and has become the game with the highest sales in the Resident Evil series (since 1996).

It is also worth noting that the above 13.9 million copies are only for the digital version of the Resident Evil 2 Remake game, and the original Resident Evil 2 game is not included.

The sales of the Resident Evil 2 Remake game also exceeded that of Resident Evil 5, which was the highest-selling work in the series back in 2009.
