The project team closely follows the technological development trends of digitization, electrification, and intelligence, and has focused on conquering a number of core and common key technologies. It has applied for 94 patents in total, of which 45 have been authorized, obtained 17 software copyrights, and cultivated more than 10 national and provincial-level talents.

Academician Ding Rongjun said: Our entire equipment system has the conditions for deep-sea operations, and the current technical level has generally reached the domestic or even the world's advanced level. The next step is to discover and solve problems through sea trials, and the ultimate goal is to form a deep-sea mining industrial system.
