Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 to be Lighter and Thinner

TapTechNews June 27th news, Samsung today released a promotional poster to warm up for the Galaxy Unpacked event on July 10th, and hinted that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 phone will be lighter and thinner.

Samsung launched the Galaxy Fold phone in 2019, which weighed 276 grams (about 0.6 pounds) and had a folded thickness of 17.1 millimeters (about 0.67 inches). After five generations of evolution, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 phone launched last year weighed 253 grams (about 0.56 pounds) and had a folded thickness of 13.4 millimeters (about 0.53 inches).

And the latest news says that the weight of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 phone that Samsung will release next month is 239 grams (about 0.53 pounds), and the thickness in the unfolded state is 6.1 millimeters.
